GT2 means the second dev path to a full app beyond the PoC. The 2 level is a quantum leap for the original POC app by virtue of: complete trip history, and enhanced model and trip control all in a free app whose sources are in github.com/renrenjuan. With this 3.0.1 version the 2 series is complete. It was MIA on App Store for nearly a year before this final update, but it is now using my DSAP stack and will be maintained to keep stack current. It is free, verified, and fit for no-frills function of getting the carbon footprint or savings of a trip or itinerary.

The tracking mechanism has been proven and the screenshots were not prepared to show real trips, a few real trips will give you a sense of how it works.

2.0.7 was the first iOS version in 2021. 2.0.8 (3.0.0) added background execution. This version 3.0.1 (2.0.9) adds being able to go back and forth between foreground and background, custom fuel type data entry, multi-leg trips and in-app restart in order to start a new trip. Sources for the current version are in my forego repo and available free with Apple login to my domain space.

GT3 is a continuation to a next level with the Personal Carbon Accounting series in my Personal Motional Tracking App product line. It is available to entitled users of my space and has automated tracking based on the same basic means in GT2 and a wider set of services.
