WristChatUI is a private, bring‑your‑own‑key AI chat client for iPhone and Apple
Watch. It speaks the standard chat API format used by most major model providers, so
you can point it at any compatible service you already use and keep your keys,
prompts, and conversations on your devices and iCloud.

A real Apple Watch app, not a notification mirror. Read, continue, and start
conversations from your wrist with a native watch composer and dictation. Endpoints,
API keys, and chat history sync from iPhone to a paired watch over WatchConnectivity,
so the moment you add an endpoint on the phone it is ready to use on the watch.

Multi‑provider, fully configurable. Configure as many endpoints as you want. Per
endpoint: model, system prompt, temperature, max tokens, and custom HTTP headers.
Switch the active endpoint with one tap. Power users can keep a fast model and a
creative model on hand at the same time.

Widgets and complications. A "New Chat" complication is available on every supported
watch face family (rectangular, circular, inline, corner) and as a Smart Stack tile.
One tap starts a fresh conversation.

Siri and Shortcuts. "Hey Siri, start a new chat in WristChatUI" opens the watch app on
a new conversation. The "Start new chat" action is also available in the Shortcuts app
on iPhone and Watch, ready to drop into your own automations.

iCloud backup. Export your conversations as JSON to your private iCloud Drive
container for safekeeping or migration between devices.

Privacy by design.

- No Wrist Assistant account, no usage meter, no markup on tokens.
- API keys live in the iOS Keychain on your devices.
- Conversations live in a SwiftData store on your devices.
- No analytics, no telemetry, no third‑party SDKs.
- The only network calls the app makes are the ones you configure to the endpoints
you choose.

Requirements.

- iPhone: iOS 26.0 or later.
- Apple Watch: watchOS 11.0 or later.
- An API key for at least one compatible chat API provider.
