dB Sound Meter turns your iPhone into an accurate sound level meter — and tells you what the number actually means. Instead of just showing "74 dB", it tells you: "Busy restaurant". Instead of "92 dB", it warns: "Hearing risk — limit exposure."

Note: Smartphone sound meters are excellent reference tools for personal use. For legally binding measurements, a certified device is required.
