The app can be used with an Internet connection, or with SMS only (or both).

COMMUNICATION BY INTERNET OR SMS
The Secual Box app can communicate with you through Internet (Wi-Fi connection at home and 3G/4G on your smartphone required), or by SMS (SIM card required in the Secual Box).
