Jotting Journal
iPhone / Productivité
Most diary apps for kids ask for an account before your child writes a word. Jotting Journal doesn't. Set it up once, on the device, and it's done: no sign-up, no cloud sync, no subscription to manage. A private, offline diary with a notes section too.
TWO WAYS TO WRITE
Diary entries come with an optional mood and decorative stamp, for whatever happened that day. Notes are separate, for anything that isn't a dated entry. Both sort into custom categories, and the calendar pulls up any day at a glance. Five themes let your child make it feel like their own.
ONE THING TO KNOW
A PIN keeps the journal private inside the app. It does not encrypt the data stored on the device, so if someone has full access to the device's files, the PIN won't stop them. That's the same model most diary apps in this category use. Jotting Journal's real difference is what it doesn't ask for: no account, no cloud, no repeat billing.
WHAT JOTTING JOURNAL DOES NOT DO
Jotting Journal doesn't connect to the internet, show ads, or send data anywhere. There's no AI, no streak counter, and no reminders pushing your child to write. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
