DJ technology is my passion. I created Tau to provide a sophisticated alternative to Serato, Rekordbox, Virtual DJ, Djay, and others.

Tau features everything you expect: 2 or 4 decks, master tempo, waveforms, MIDI, and DVS, to name a few. Its advanced technology provides a unique, boutique DJ experience.

Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?

- Rekordbox USB access (Device Library Plus). Playlists, artwork, cue points, beatgrids, keys and more. Tracks can be loaded just like on a CDJ.
- Dual Rekordbox USB support: two Rekordbox USBs can be used simultaneously, allowing seamless transitions between DJ libraries.
- Direct Rekordbox application database access. No USB export required.
- Rekordbox access is separate from Tau’s database. Metadata in Tau will not be overwritten for the same track. A new option in Tau settings allows you to import metadata from the Rekordbox database.
- When the CFX knob on the main FX panel is turned fully to the right, the CFX filters switch to a dynamic resonance curve.
- Loop-Sync-Play feature to mix variable tempo songs with fixed beatgrid (modern) music.

How to use Loop-Sync-Play:

1. Turn off sync completely for the variable tempo track.
2. Create a loop from a section with a relatively steady tempo - this can be a single beat, 4 beats, etc.
3. Hold SHIFT. The CUE button will change to LSP.
4. Trigger LSP at the right moment. (On a MIDI controller, use SHIFT + CUE.)

When activated, LSP will disable sync for the track (if it’s not already off) and adjust its tempo to match the master track, based on the loop length.
