The NEJM Image Challenge App brings a popular online feature for medical professionals to the iPhone and iPod Touch. Optimized for viewing on the iPhone and iPod Touch, the NEJM Image Challenge App helps you to test and hone your diagnostic and visual skills anytime, anywhere. Please note: Minimum OS version supported is iOS 7.0.
The New England Journal of Medicine is known for its compelling medical graphics and illustrations. The NEJM Image Challenge App randomly selects from over 400 challenging clinical photos published weekly in the NEJM Images in Clinical Medicine series. Choose an image and answer multiple-choice questions. Keep taking the challenge until you get it right and then move on to the next challenge!

Updates for text size handling. Since the app was not created to handle larger text sizes, we saw an alignment issue on the settings screen when the user sets their font to the largest standard font size, or turns on the larger font sizes for visually-impaired users.
