What McClean removes:
.DS_Store
macOS creates these hidden files automatically – even where you don’t need them. They store layout info and can look unprofessional or even pose a security risk when shared. McClean removes them reliably, including from all subfolders.
.svn
Used by Subversion for version control. Handy for development, unnecessary in finished projects or deployments.
.git & .git*
Git is powerful – but you probably don’t want to share your repo data with clients or put it online. McClean helps you keep things separate and clean.
thumbs.db
Standard on Windows, but totally unnecessary on a Mac. These thumbnail cache files don’t belong in your clean folder structure.

• You can now export your search results as a text file. Simply use the new "Export Results as Text…" option from the File menu.
• A message is now displayed if no files or folders matching your selected criteria are found.
