CoreGEN3
macOS / Education
The CoreGen3 program analyzes properties of a Gedcom file that you export from your genealogy program. CoreGen3 can read the Gedcom file, analyze errors, detect inconsistencies, and generate properties such as lineage of maximal ascent, ancestral fractional distribution by birth county, common ancestors of a group of people, and connection to a core genealogy.
For persons of Western European descent, the ResearchGenealogy.ged file provided with CoreGen3, includes a core genealogy based on the common ancestors of the royal lines of Europe. Once you connect your lineage, your genealogy can be considered complete. You are then related to every other person who connects to the core genealogy.
The ResearchGenealogy provides a genealogical history of the modern world, linking to all of the cultural groups in Europe. Examples of operations within CoreGen3 include common ancestors of the U.S. presidents and lineages to historically important persons. You can export lineages, ancestors, descendants and relatives of selected persons for import into your own genealogy program.
Quoi de neuf dans la dernière version ?
CoreGen3 now supports genealogies with up to 400,000 persons. A user guide has been added, along with minor program fixes. The ResearchGenealogy has been expanded to 352,580 persons.
