We process thousands of affirmations daily! Our scripts, our stories, our stream of self talk....are the foundation of what we think, how we feel, and what we do or don't do. The power of more productive affirmations isn't just rainbows and unicorns! They are the wisdom and support we all need, whatever journey we're on. It's the whisper of a true friend to remind you, YOU are made for this journey...and this journey can feel like an eternity. Trusting it can naturally bring fear, anxiety, and despair. Feel it to free it! Think it to reframe it! Rewrite that script my friend, you're outgrowing it!

The journey toward a child of your own may be brief or long, and is often filled with anxious thoughts and affirmations that contribute to a negative self-perception. Whether you are building your family through Pregnancy, Adoption, and Assisted Reproductive Technology, are suffering through loss, or need support Postpartum, these positive affirmations will help you create and experience harmony, growth and healing.

Why it Works:
When navigating the inevitable stressors of the family building journey or postpartum anxiety and depression, it’s normal to consciously and unconsciously repeat negative affirmations to yourself. The good news is that research has proven how affirmations quickly and effectively change your thought patterns and, in turn, your physiology. Regardless of your unique stage or challenge, this means that through affirmations practice, a positive mindset and a general sense of health and wellbeing is always possible.

How to use this app:
To use your Fertile Affirmations®, find a comfortable space to be with your intentions and thoughts. While breathing deeply and slowly, allow yourself to be drawn into the delicate Fertile Affirmations® painting. Gently observe the colors, the breath of life, and the many other symbols of mindfulness. Become enveloped into its womb like peace. When you are ready, choose your card from the deck collection or allow your card to choose you....You can even create your own affirmation! It will be the perfect affirmation to focus on in this moment. Fertile Affirmations are the wisdom and support needed wherever you are on your journey.

Fertile Affirmations were developed by Windy Ezzell, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Wilmington, North Carolina with an extensive background in reproductive health and family building.
