- Calculator — Type any price and see it converted to work time instantly. Supports all major currencies with live exchange rates and offline fallback. Point the camera at any price tag to scan it without typing.

- The Bigger Picture — Before you decide, see the purchase in full context. How does it compare to lattes, meals, or gym sessions? What would it grow to over 10, 20, and 30 years if you invested it instead? How many days of retirement freedom does skipping it fund? It's all right there, one tap away.

- Decision Banners — When a purchase crosses a threshold, a banner appears. Quick Buy for guilt-free spends. Think Twice, Sleep On It, Big Decision for the ones that deserve a pause. Set your own rules.

- Spending Categories — Tag every purchase across 10 categories: Food & Drinks, Electronics & Tech, Health & Wellness, Travel, and more. Earned suggests one automatically based on your item name and past choices.

- History — Every check you save stays with your decision: Bought, Skipped, or Delayed. See the hours you spent — and the hours you kept. Filter by category to see exactly where your time is going.

- Worth-It Ratings — After a purchase, give it a thumbs up or down. Over time, your ratings reveal what you actually value versus what you just wanted in the moment.

- Monthly Budget — Set a spending limit in hours, not money. Watch it fill in real time as you spend through the month. Review past months to see how you tracked over time.

- Insights — Your skip rate, hours reclaimed, worth-it ratio, category breakdown, top purchases, and monthly spending patterns — all in one place. Switch between This Month, 3 Months, This Year, and All Time.

- Apple Watch — Turn the Crown to check any price right from your wrist. Log the result to iPhone with one tap. The Smart Stack widget shows your hours reclaimed at a glance.

- Home Screen Widget — Hours reclaimed and your monthly budget at a glance, without opening the app.

- Notifications — A daily nudge at a time you choose, but only on days you haven't already checked a price. Plus Friday and Saturday reminders before peak spending hours.

NEW FEATURES

- Spending categories. Every purchase now has a category — Food & Drinks, Entertainment, Electronics & Tech, Health & Wellness, Transport, Travel, Shopping & Style, Home & Living, Subscriptions, or Other. Earned suggests one from your item name and checks what category you used for similar things before.

- Category Breakdown in Insights. A new card shows how your work hours break down across spending categories — so you can see which part of your life costs the most time. Scoped to the same time window as the rest of Insights.

- Filter History by category. Tap the filter menu in History, pick a category, and see only those purchases. Decision filter and category filter stack independently.

- "If invested instead" on your result. The Bigger Picture section now shows what the purchase price would grow to over 10, 20, and 30 years at a 7% return — right alongside how many hours it costs. Tap the ⓘ for the full explanation.

- Auto-snapshot before restore. When you restore from a backup, Earned saves a "Before Restore" snapshot first so you can always get back to exactly where you were.

IMPROVED

- Comparisons ("≈ 205 lattes") are now tucked inside The Bigger Picture section — visible when you want context, out of the way when you don't.

- Category suggestions in History edit. Opening a past purchase with no category now highlights the best match with a dashed border — tap to confirm, or pick a different one.

FIXED

- App name showing as "Zarobené", "Verdient", etc. on non-English devices. Earned is a brand name and never gets translated.
- iCloud backup was silently dropping category data on every backup/restore cycle.
- Manual JSON import was dropping category data, capture source, and Watch UUID.
- Crash when rapidly toggling iCloud Sync and then tapping Reset All Data.
- Decision chip sweep animation was invisible on real hardware.
- Various stability and performance improvements.
