Noah and the Animals is a beautiful, hand-crafted storybook and game collection for young children. Every mode is built around one simple educational goal: helping kids discover, practice, and master onomatopoeia - the words we use to imitate the sounds of the world around us. Roar. Moo. Tweet. Buzz. Children learn these sounds naturally, through play, in the most memorable way possible: by hearing them, repeating them, and matching them to the animals that make them.

STORY MODE - LISTEN AND READ
Follow Noah's journey gathering animals on the ark. In Listen mode, a friendly narrator brings the story to life, perfect for pre-readers. In Read mode, parents and children can read aloud together. Every animal makes its real sound as the tale unfolds.

A sound-discovery playground. Tap any of 22 animals to hear their authentic sounds with delightful visual feedback. Explore, repeat, memorize, and giggle along the way.

SOUND MATCHING MINI-GAME
The onomatopoeia challenge. Hear an animal sound and tap the animal that makes it. Progressive difficulty keeps kids engaged as their ear sharpens.

NEW - MATCHING CARD GAME
Flip cards to find matching pairs of animals and hear each one's sound when revealed. Four difficulty levels, including the brand-new Hero mode with a real-time health bar for kids who want a true challenge.

WHY ONOMATOPOEIA?
Onomatopoeic words, the playful sounds we use to imitate animals, vehicles, and the world around us, are among the very first words every child learns, in every language. They bridge sound and meaning in a way ordinary vocabulary can't: when a child says "moo," they're not just labeling a cow, they're hearing it. These sound-rich words help develop listening skills, pronunciation, and a love of language from the earliest age. And here's the beautiful part: every language has its own onomatopoeia. A dog barks "woof" in English, "au au" in Portuguese, "guau" in Spanish, and "wang wang" in Chinese. With four full audio languages, Noah and the Animals lets children discover that the world sounds different, and wonderful, wherever you go.

This is our biggest update ever. We rebuilt parts of the app from the ground up, added a brand new game mode, and polished countless little details to make the experience smoother and more delightful for kids - while staying true to what the app has always been about: teaching onomatopoeia, the sounds animals make, through play.

A brand new way to learn onomatopoeia! Flip cards to find matching animal pairs and hear each animal's sound when you reveal them. Four difficulty levels keep kids engaged as they grow:

- Medium: a step up for confident matchers
- Hard: for kids ready for a real challenge
- Hero: our toughest level yet, with a health bar that races against the clock
