Out of the classroom and into the phones - Connoisseur is the best way to get a serious art history education without taking a course. I (the creator of Connoisseur) found great enjoyment in the rigorous process of memorizing artworks for exams ("slide IDs"). It helped me be able to "sight-read" paintings in museums, and know who painted an artwork I've never seen before just by recognizing the stylistic similarities.
