App Overview

AV Buddy’s content is organised into five main sections:

In the Main section, you’ll find connector pinouts, termination videos, speaker wiring, audio interconnects, polar patterns, cable guides, and an AV Glossary.

Connector pinouts include BNC, RCA, DVI, F-Connector, HDMI, Mini-Din, VGA, DisplayPort, TS & TRS, XLR, Speakon, Captive, RJ45, DB9, USB, and DMX512 — each with a 3D interactive model, description, and pinout.
Termination videos are available for BNC Crimp, BNC Compression, RCA Video, F-Connector, VGA, TRS, XLR, and RJ45.

Speaker wiring includes diagrams for Parallel, Series, and Series-Parallel configurations.
Audio interconnects cover 22 popular connection types with realistic 3D diagrams.
Polar patterns include 7 microphone types with detailed descriptions and visuals.

The Cable Guide includes ethernet cabling, coaxCable Guides feature Ethernet, Coax, and Audio cables. Each includes a description and diagram:
