NOTE: This app is for BOTH kids and adults! But from here on, we will describe like it is for parents & kids. Anyway, if you are learning a new language, you're as good as a kid ^^

Good old flashcards is still the best way to learn. Schools are using it, because it works. At home, parents should help kids using flashcards, but that take quite some effort.
We are parents and we know. Hence we build Schooling Papa so that the app can assist you to:

Currently the app supports: English, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 日本語, 한국어, Bahasa Melayu, Deutsch, español, français, Nederlands, italiano, polski, português, română, Ελληνικά, русский.
Custom language/dialect can be added too, but dictation and speech recognition for them are not supported.
- HOW IT WORKS -
Firstly, you need flashcards. The app provides a few basic decks to get you started. But you should create your very own personalized decks and cards.
The process of creating your own flashcard is very important -- from deciding on what to learn, to choosing a picture, to typing out the word -- because it helps to form deeper connections. As scientific research has shown, a personal connection will retain memory by 2x!
If you have existing sets of flashcard, go ahead and digitize them.
When you are ready to learn a deck of cards, there are 3 modes:
1. LISTEN: Hear once when you see the picture (the meaning), then hear again for the word (the spelling)
2. PRACTICE: Hear when you see the picture, then pronounce when you see the word
3. TEST: Pronounce when you see the word/picture
The app is able to listen using speech recognition. When the pronunciation is correct, it will move on to the next card. That is to say, Schooling Papa will make sure your child pronounce it correctly!
The TEST mode is especially critical. Everyone dislike tests. Yet the best way to remember is to self-test, forcing yourself to recall how to pronounce a word. Our TEST is not a measure of how good you are. Instead,
