ADSBee
iOS Universel / Education
ADSBee turns your iPhone or iPad into a live window on the sky.
See every flight overhead in real time, tap any aircraft to follow it across the map, and watch its altitude, speed, heading, and bank angle update on a flight-deck-style HUD. Whether you're spotting from the back porch, killing time on a layover, or wondering about the airliner you just heard pass overhead, ADSBee shows you what's flying — right now.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See live aircraft positions on a beautiful dark map, updating the moment new ADS-B data
arrives.
• Tap any plane to lock the camera to it — the map rotates with the aircraft and follows it
across the country.
• Read live altitude on a sliding altimeter tape with a vertical-speed bar that climbs and
dives in real time.
• Watch a synthetic HUD with bank, pitch, yaw rate, heading, and ground speed — animated
smoothly between server updates.
• Search by callsign, tail number, or ICAO24 to find any flight on the network, even outside
your current map view.
• Pull up origin and destination routing for tracked airliners.
• See active Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs) and major VOR / NDB navaids as toggleable
overlays.
• Zoom out for a country-scale cluster view of traffic; zoom in for individual aircraft and
tail numbers.
• Trails show where each aircraft has just been, with smart dead-reckoning between updates so
motion stays smooth.
DESIGNED FOR THE WAY YOU WATCH
ADSBee keeps following the aircraft you care about, even when it scrolls off the edge of your screen. Other trackers lose the plane the moment it leaves the viewport ADSBee keeps polling and keeps the HUD live, so you never lose your flight.
The map is heading-up by default while tracking, so the world rotates around the aircraft just like the moving-map display in a glass cockpit. Pinch or rotate to override at any time, and tap empty map to release the lock.
LIGHT, FAST, RESPECTFUL
• Native SwiftUI. Dark mode. No ads. No account required.
• Doesn't use your device location — the map is global; you choose where to look.
• ADS-B data is sourced from open community feeds. No telemetry, no tracking pixels.
A COMPANION TO ADSBEE.ORG
ADSBee on iOS shares the same live feed as the web tracker at adsbee.org. A flight you watch
on your phone is the same flight your friend is watching at their desk.
A NOTE ON DATA
ADS-B coverage depends on community ground receivers. Some military, private, or very
low-altitude flights don't broadcast ADS-B and may not appear. ADSBee is for situational
awareness and entertainment — not for navigation, ATC, or flight-safety decisions.
