The JITS-FOS app is explicitly designed for inspectors to carry out their inspection report compilation tasks using exclusively a tablet device.The tablet version of JITS/FOS platform allows inspectors to process all the Inspections with status "In Progress" and fill in the respective inspection reports either in online or offline mode.

The tablet app has full functionality while connected to the internet (i.e. the inspector can proceed to compilation and sign-off of an inspection report) and is limited to report compilation only mode when the tablet is not connected to the internet (offline use). In particular, inspection reports that have been forwarded to "In Progress" status on the online web environment are picked up by the tablet application and can then be processed further.
