RealLife Cowboy is the only app that lets you view objects submitted by real cowboys in augmented reality. Learn about significant cowboy-related objects while viewing and listening to stories from the owners in your own environment. You can even interact with the objects by moving them in space.

We all know the most famous cowboys, cowgirls, bounty hunters, and outlaws in popular culture. The Lone Ranger, the Man with No Name, Annie Oakley, and Buffalo Bill are just a few iconic figures of the wild west.

You’ve probably seen a classic western showdown or standoff on the screen. As a kid, you may have played games of Cowboys and Indians. Perhaps you’ve eaten at a saloon modeled after the ones in the Old West.

But there’s more to the cowboy lifestyle than what’s shown in movies, TV shows, and games. In fact, cowboy culture is more often misrepresented in the media than portrayed accurately. Large collection of cowboy objects and audio sounds - Explore our extensive catalog of significant objects submitted by real cowboys. For each object, learn about what it is, how it’s used, and why it’s important. Listen to the realistic sounds of each item to further immerse yourself in the world of cowboys.

Place and view objects in the real world - Adjust where each object is placed on your screen. Move a spur to your boot, put a slingshot on your table, or place a cowboy hat on your friend’s head. Simply use your touchscreen to place objects and move them around to different locations.

Proximity volume control - As you get closer to an object in augmented reality, its sound gets louder. For example, the crack of a whip, the jingling of a belt buckle, or the swoosh of a lasso becomes louder as you approach it, just like it would in real life. When you step further away from the object, its sound becomes quieter.
